Mobile App Install
Daybook works as a Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning you can install it on your phone for quick access without going through an app store.
Installing on iPhone (iOS)
- Open Safari and go to app.hellodaybook.com
- Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add in the top right
- Daybook icon appears on your home screen
Safari Required
On iPhone, you must use Safari. Chrome and other browsers don't support PWA installation on iOS.
Installing on Android
- Open Chrome and go to app.hellodaybook.com
- Tap the three dots menu (top right)
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen
- Tap Install
- Daybook icon appears in your app drawer
Features
Once installed, the Daybook app:
- Opens in full-screen (no browser bar)
- Works offline for viewing data
- Sends push notifications (optional)
- Launches quickly from home screen
Troubleshooting
"Add to Home Screen" not showing
Make sure you're using the correct browser:
- iPhone: Safari only
- Android: Chrome recommended
App won't install
Clear your browser cache and try again. You may need to log in first.
